Industrial Powered Forklift Certification

Since 1970, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has included a provision for states where only operators with training are allowed to operate industrial motor vehicles.

This training will be offered as established by 29 CFR section 1910.178 which establishes that a trained person offer the training.

The training consists of a theoretical and a practical part and the training schedule will depend on the category of equipment to be certified and the number of people.

The expiration time of the certification is up to 3 years as established by OSHA.

The only requirement to take this certification is that the person be over 18 years of age.
